To gostando.

I am pretty hurt by your blog post. I think that it is not 100% accurate, and I feel like the way it is worded could start up unnecessary conflict — especially since it is posted to Fedora Planet.
Jayme brought up that he’d like his wallpaper included in the default package this morning, only a few hours ago. I have yet to see anyone argue with him; we’ll work it out on the design team list. There is no need to bring up controversy on Fedora Planet — it’s not productive.
I’d also like to point out that it was not a last-minute decision to exclude the lion by default from the F11 wallpaper. Several weeks ahead of time the issue of icons not being visible on the lion was brought up on the list (one of the complaints about icon visibility came from Paul, our Fedora project leader!), and Samuele unfortunately did not revise the artwork to address this problem. We came up with a good compromise — to include the lion on a second screen by default, not at all on a single screen. This left ample room for icon visibility but still displayed the lion if you had dual screens. As the design team lead, I was directly involved in this situation, so I can say that you do not have your story 100% straight here.
It’s a lot better to check facts and communicate with people instead of posting to Planet and stirring up controversy. We need the design team to focus on creating beautiful artwork and not fighting. Fedora is about being friends, and I don’t feel like your post is very friendly.
Thanks for your consideration.

Mo, I really apologize that some of the words I wrote here sounded in the wrong way or in the sense of impoverishing the work of our art team. Rather, I am a great admirer of your work, as well as Nicu’s and of course, my friend’s Jayme.
I hope is clear my intention of exalting the art of Fedora 12 and that I don’t intend nor I have the necessary involvment with Fedora’s art to discuss or to influence decisions taken by the people that make artwork happen… everything that fits to me, in this case, is to like or not to like, exactly as any other user that has his own taste and his own opinion.
Again, I apologize, because I don’t dominate English and I know that translations can give the wrong tone, generating misunderstoods. I reaffirm my pleasure with the artwork. If Jayme’s wallpaper came as one of the default I simply put here an update, after all, the function of this blog is just to be an amusement in my spare times.
To avoid that this one repeat I’ll remove my blog of Planet, since I do not post anything in English, after all.
Keep the good work
Thank you for the nice reply! Since I wrote my first comment to your blog, Jayme’s artwork has been added to the default wallpaper package as he requested.
I apologize if I jumped to conclusions based on a poor translation. I myself should have checked with you to make sure I was reading what you wrote correctly before I wrote my response.
No need to remove your blog from Planet if you don’t want to; just be aware that many, many people read Planet and if you are not careful about what you say it can have bad consequences (I have learned this first-hand myself
)
Thanks again for the nice reply, I apologize for any misunderstanding.
